WHEN LOSS CAN BECOME A TURNING POINT FOR THE SOUL

About four years ago, after the rollout of the covid vaccine, I began noticing a steady rise in unexpected illnesses and deaths. Alongside this came an increasing amount of suffering, loss and shock within families and communities. One by one, people began losing someone they cared about. At the time, I wondered if by 2025 almost everyone on Earth would personally know of at least one unexpected death. A family member, a work colleague, a neighbour, someone from a local club or church, or even a familiar figure in the public eye. Sadly, this turned out to be the case.

Where we stand now, some people have connected these losses to the vaccine, while many have not. For others, they may have an idea of the connection, but it is too confronting to consider, because accepting it feels like facing the possibility that a choice they made, or encouraged others to make, may have had unintended effects. There was also the immense pressure, fear and persuasion during that time, so it is understandable that many would avoid revisiting the topic. In the absence of media discussion, the majority have not yet made the connection. That realization will unfold gradually.

Life operates on many levels, most of them unseen. Humanity shares a collective consciousness, so when something affects one part of the whole, it ripples through the entire field. To ease the emotional impact that would come once the deeper realizations began to surface, a preparatory process unfolded. Many individuals woke up earlier than the rest of the population and faced the full spectrum of emotions that arose. They processed anger, grief, helplessness, betrayal, frustration and guilt. In doing so, they created a kind of energetic stabilisation and a blueprint within the collective field. This helped lessen the emotional shockwaves that could have become overwhelming for the entire planet.

Although it may feel impossible to find anything positive in all of this, there is a deeper spiritual dimension. In human life, we all become attached. We become attached to homes, jobs, habits, identities, roles and beliefs. Yet the strongest attachments we form are to the people we love. We do not think of them as attachments because connection and love are natural. If we were asked what we could not walk away from, most of us would have quite a list. The idea is not that we should physically separate from anyone or anything. It points instead to how deeply we rely on external things to feel safe, whole and anchored.

This leads to an important spiritual truth. When a soul has completed its stage of learning within the third dimension and its vibration has grown sufficiently, it becomes ready to move into a new level of multidimensional awareness. To do that, the soul has to release its energetic ties to the 3D world. This does not mean abandoning people or possessions. It means loosening the inner bonds that make us believe our survival, happiness or identity depend on external conditions. When we release those energetic ties, we free ourselves to step into the next phase of our evolution.

There has always been loss on the planet, but until recently it was concentrated in specific places through wars, disasters or famine. What has unfolded since early 2021 has been different. It has touched almost every country, culture and community. It may become the single largest shared experience of loss in recorded history. The number of people affected may never be measured accurately because the resulting illnesses and conditions are so varied.

No explanation can remove the pain of losing someone we love. Yet from the view of the soul’s evolution, humanity has been pushed toward confronting and loosening the deepest attachment of all, the attachment to those closest to us. This does not diminish love. It does not tell us to stop caring. It does not suggest anything was ‘meant to happen’ in a human sense. It acknowledges that through unprecedented loss, many souls have begun the profound spiritual process of stepping out of the constraints of 3D, and into a higher state of awareness that does not cling to the physical world for identity or security.

Attachment is natural. It is part of being human. We care, we connect and we build our lives around the people and things that matter to us. The problem is not love. The challenge begins when our sense of security or identity becomes dependent on something outside of us. Then the soul cannot move freely.

Some signs of attachment include:

• we cannot imagine being okay if a person or circumstance changes
• we rely on someone or something to feel worthy, safe or complete
• we fear losing a role, connection or identity more than we trust life
• we feel a need to control outcomes to avoid emotional discomfort
• we stay in situations that limit our growth because change feels threatening
• we look to the past for security instead of allowing ourselves to evolve
• we know something has ended, yet we cannot let it go

None of these mean we have failed. It simply shows where love has become mixed with fear. We don’t need to abandon anything or anyone, just loosen our grip so our growth is no longer restricted by what we are afraid to lose. Detachment is not abandoning life. It is the freedom to continue loving without fear of losing ourselves.

As we learn to let go without closing our hearts, we discover that love does not end and our connections endure beyond the physical world.

Love,

Sandy Stevenson
