THE SILENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN SOULS
We are often quick to judge or pity other people’s relationships. We
might see a relationship where one person seems to be doing all the
heavy lifting. They do the shopping, washing, run errands, manage the
family schedule and provide care, while the other person sits back. From
the outside, it looks completely lopsided, but we only ever see a tiny
snapshot of a much longer story.
Relationships don’t always balance out in a single day, a year or even a
lifetime. It’s not always a perfect 50/50 split every single day.
Sometimes, one person carries the weight for a decade, then the seasons
shift and the other person takes over. Sometimes, the scales take a
decade or a lifetime to find their balance. Perhaps there is no burden
in what we see. Maybe instead, somewhere deep inside, a memory remains
of a time when the roles were reversed. Maybe this is honouring with
private gratitude, a silent debt that is being repaid. Perhaps a person
carried the other through years of illness or supported their dream when
they had nothing. In those cases, what looks like an imbalance to the
world, is actually a completed circle between two souls. Not an
obligation, but an act of deep inner rightness. An example of love and
devotion that moves in waves rather than a straight line.
The real secret is that it doesn’t matter how the maths looks to an
outsider. The only thing that truly matters is how it feels to the
people inside the bond. If there is a sense of peace and happiness in
those roles, then the energy is in perfect alignment. It is coming from
soul intuition, that quiet, internal sense that tells you that you are
exactly where you are meant to be. When you are in that flow, you aren't
keeping a tally or looking for a thank you. You are simply fulfilling a
part of a larger, divine order.
When we realize that souls have silent agreements between themselves
that we have no idea about, we stop using our own rulers to measure
someone else's life. When we see that age, nationality and social status
are simply beliefs of society we have accepted, that have no bearing on
truth. It is also reminder to trust that feeling of rightness in our own
lives, too. If a situation feels true and honest to us, it does not need
to make sense to anyone else.
Sometimes the strangest looking paths are actually the ones that lead us
exactly where our hearts need to go.
Love,
