It is quite understandable for those who are awake to assume that everyone must want to move to a better life based in harmony, truth and enlightenment. And yet, if we give this some thought, we can also see a very different perspective.

Many of us now realise that we choose to incarnate into 3D to learn and grow spiritually from the experience life offers, with so many roles and situations that encourage learning. We also see, from the many examples we encounter in life, that people learn at their own pace. The timing of a soul’s learning is in their hands from the choices they make. If a soul can see, from a higher perspective, that more may be gained in the 3D reality it is living, it will naturally choose to stay there. It may be perfectly content to keep experiencing the existing reality, hoping to grow in wisdom and become more unconditional loving.

In that case, ‘waking up’ to a different reality would not be for its highest good. A harmonious and enlightened reality would not serve someone who still wishes to learn more from the reality they are living. It can help to reflect on this when we think about ‘waking someone up.’ Feeling into what is right in the moment can prevent us from pushing someone based on the belief that everyone ‘would want to know’. We are all aware how resistant we can become when others try to change us according to what they think is best for us. Change is something we each do in our own time, when and if we see it is needed.

When we widen our view and recognize that every soul has the right to choose its own pace of learning, in its own time, with whom and in what way, we begin to see the gift in that freedom. Every path holds learning for the soul, and no choice is better than another.
