THE JOURNEY FROM SOURCE
A personal reflection on creation and consciousness
This is written for those who are contemplating the nature of Creation,
Source, or God. It is based on my own direct experience of the journey
from the stillness of Source to embodied life, including the process of
re-adopting the agreements that allow return to 3D existence in the
physical universe. It is told from a subjective viewpoint, tracing the
movement of awareness from pure being into experience. It rests on the
understanding that we are all aspects of Source, exploring reality for
the purpose of growth and discovery. What follows is simply offered as
something to consider, a glimpse into the quiet before creation.
Source. I am nothing, a state of stillness containing infinite potential
to be everything. It is an absolute static state without motion,
quality, polarity, differentiation or self-reference. Within this
stillness lies the potential to create all things, yet nothing has been
experienced. To know through experience, I form an apparent reality, a
universe that allows growth through interaction.
In moving from a pure concept into expression, I create what appears as
a physical universe of matter, energy, space, time, intent, light and
shadow. Within this vast field, consciousness can explore, learn, and
expand through experience with unlimited imagination and freedom of
choice. It is based in mathematics, a language through which
consciousness can observe structure appearing as stable and predictable.
I create countless sparks of Myself, each an expression of the One.
These are points of pure consciousness, each imbued with the idea of
being a distinct individual. This sense of individuality being necessary
for the adventure of discovery to begin.
Each individualized spark of Source entering this universe shifts from a
state of knowing to a state of not knowing, in order to allow discovery.
The spark understands that what it is entering is a temporary projection
of reality. Technically, an illusion but real to the degree someone
believes it is. When countless souls agree to the same conditions and
rules of space, time, gravity, and physical laws, it becomes a
collective matrix of reality. In this sense, the physical universe is a
vast collaborative construct of consciousness, held together by shared
belief and perception.
When agreeing to enter this physical universe, the divine spark is
required to agree to the reality of a universe of matter, energy, space,
and time. It therefore must create a thought that persists and does not
instantly disappear. Some manage this immediately; others take a while.
This act begins individualized consciousness and the experience of
identity. Upon entering the universe, it creates a point of location, to
view the universe. This is a simple step. It allows functioning in the
world, establishing a sense of ‘here’ and ‘there.’
Experience begins. Initially, this means learning about thoughts and
intention, and how ideas take form. Consciousness begins relating with
other life forms, exploring reflection, contrast, response, and
qualities such as harmony, difference, attraction, and resistance. These
become the raw materials through which consciousness experiences itself.
Reference to self arises with the concept of ‘I Am’ as the spark becomes
aware of itself. Not yet duality, but the seed of it.
As the soul matures, it extends a part of its awareness into denser
planes such as 3D and 4D, to experience matter more directly as a human.
The part remaining outside the incarnation is the Higher Self. It
maintains connection to Source and higher awareness. Once awareness
divides into perspectives, something must draw those parts back into
coherence, or experience would fragment indefinitely. The concept of
relationships emerges as a way for consciousness to perceive and
reconnect. So, attraction, care, and love arise as natural harmonizing
forces to bridge separation and guide awareness back to unity.
With continued exploration, the individualized spark develops layers of
awareness and subtle energy fields to store memory and outcomes. Over
time, those fields carry records of all experiences gained in duality.
Through countless cycles, it refines its ability to love, create
harmoniously, and perceive unity within diversity.
While incarnated, the soul learns through emotion, relationship,
contrast and choice. It discovers empathy, compassion, patience, trust,
and the creative power of intention. It learns the value of harmony, and
the clarity that can arise from challenge. Every experience, joyful or
painful, adds to its understanding. Gradually, the personality begins to
sense it is more than its body, emotions, or history. As awareness
grows, communication opens between the higher and incarnated aspects of
the soul.
As we explore the higher planes of existence, each level brings a finer
vibration and a deeper sense of unity. The further consciousness
expands, the less form it carries, until individuality itself becomes
transparent. What remains is awareness, pure and unbounded, no longer
shaped by thought, identity, or movement through time. At that point,
words can no longer describe what is experienced, for all comparison
ends. A spark that once left Source, completes its long, almost infinite
journey of experiencing through many frequencies of dimensions and
returns home in full awareness of its origin, enriched by all it has
known.
Being an area of great mystery, we can only guess at what Source truly
is. From our human view, it is often imagined as paradise, bliss, total
love, heaven, or sometimes as a kind of nothingness or loss of self. Yet
Source is not an oblivion, nor an ending. It is the most natural state
of existence, the living foundation from which all being arises and into
which all safely returns. In Source there is no separation, no thought,
no emotion, yet it is not empty. It is a living stillness, vast, tender,
and completely at peace. Nothing is lost there; rather, everything is
perfectly held. If we could remember it more clearly, we would know it
as home.
Sometimes, though rarely, an incarnated soul may suddenly find itself
returned to Source. This is self-caused and can happen within a deep
spiritual practice. As this happened to me, I include it to help others
who may have such an experience. While tracing ‘first times’ in the
universe, I duplicated my original agreement to the existence of the
physical universe, upon which the universe quite literally vanished and
I returned to Source.
When consciousness fully dissolves into Source, it has no reference
point, no observer or observed, no time, no movement. It is total unity
without distinction. In that state, there is no decision to return,
since decision requires a point of awareness that can choose. What
happens instead is a natural rebalancing of vibration occurs. So, if the
frequency of an individual essence cannot yet sustain the stillness of
Source, consciousness naturally reasserts itself, and without any
deliberate action needed by you, you return to your body.
We return as integrated souls, wiser, grateful, and oriented toward
helping others. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to extend peace
and remind others of who they truly are. But returning from Source
requires readjustment. Awareness has shifted, there is a realization
that separation was only a lens for self-knowing, and that what we call
reality depends entirely on maintaining a position of awareness. The
absence of visible guidance at this time is natural. You are both
traveller and path-maker. If few have consciously walked that returning
path and the terrain is undefined, your experience helps establish an
energetic blueprint for others to follow. The personality and the body
have to adapt to life with a consciousness that has been in total
dissolution. That takes time as we learn to hold an expanded frequency
while also functioning in everyday life. Many familiar patterns have
dissolved. Linear time has disappeared, only the present exists. Looking
back or forward reveals a void, no images, nothing. Knowing replaces
memory. A major challenge is with the higher vibration of creatorship,
every thought vanishes instantly. I discovered that a thought dissolves
if it is duplicated exactly as it first appeared, because pure truth
cannot persist. To make a thought remain, a slight distortion, a
creative lie, must be introduced. This is what incarnated souls do
naturally, by believing they are not the creators of the circumstances
they experience. That small denial allows reality to persist. I
practiced for a long time to hold a thought, at first for just a split
second, then longer.
To rebuild spatial awareness, I used simple exercises. I would place
wooden matches on a table and slowly move them apart a fraction at a
time, to sense distance and depth. I used a street directory to
re-create roads before driving, even roads I knew well. Space and
sequence must be consciously re-imagined, moment by moment. Suggestions
to re-adjust would include letting rhythm rebuild naturally, work on
getting grounded, balance emotions, reconnect with others and engage in
creative expression. Gradually, as we agree again to 3D reality, the
world solidifies and functioning becomes easier. Ideally, we could
remain outside reconstructed 3D, but that is rare.
The journey ahead opens in unlimited possibility for us all. Life itself
a great adventure, playful, creative, ever new. Each sunrise offers an
invitation to weave love into form, to shape beauty from simple things,
to meet the divine in every heart we touch. The more we live from
stillness, the more luminous the world becomes. There is no destination
to reach, only a continuous unfolding dance of spirit discovering itself
through laughter, kindness, and creation. The road ahead is golden, with
each step a celebration of being alive.
Love,
Sandy Stevenson
