INNER TUITION
You know, intuition only
works when someone is really willing to be honest with themselves and
trusts what they are sensing inside, rather than what they want to
believe or information that simply backs up their beliefs.
Once we trust ourselves,
we stop needing to seek out others for answers, stop guessing what is
likely to happen, stop surmising why actions were done or not done, or
why things were not undertaken in a different way. We stop wasting
energy running around a mental hamster wheel, stop replaying
conversations, stop getting pulled into heated discussions, and stop
trying to control outcomes. There is more patience and steadiness, with
less urgency to fix or prove anything, and a natural ease in not needing
certainty before taking the next step.
We become more tolerant
and more loving, not as an effort, but as a natural response. We allow
others to be who they are without judging them or needing them to see
things as we do. We stand back more, trusting people to walk their own
path in their own time, without rescuing, correcting, or interfering.
There is more compassion without carrying responsibility for others,
more acceptance of differences, and a quiet respect for where each
person is, even when we would choose differently ourselves.
Love,
Sandy Stevenson
