HONOURING EACH SOUL’S PATH

As we move along our own path of awakening and begin to live from a more spiritual perspective, our view of reality naturally expands. We start to see beyond the familiar boundaries that have shaped our human thinking. As awareness grows, a quiet shift in consciousness occurs.

We begin to cease our criticisms and judgments about how others should behave, and how they could do things better. Such comments often feel justified, especially when we encounter frustration, disappointment, irritation or see what we label as incompetence or a lack of common sense or use of logic.  It becomes so normal, that we rarely think about the negative energy created or the overall effect this has when many people do it.

As our awakening unfolds, our criticism lessens. The human ego that is forever convincing us we’re right, or that our way is better, gradually steps back. In its place, a deeper sense of self starts to come forward, one that observes more and reacts less.

Every soul that chose to incarnate into third dimensional life on Earth did so for learning and growth. Each entered into that experience willingly, knowing it would bring challenges as well as expansion. Over time, as consciousness increases, each soul releases its attachment to that agreement. It does it in its own way and when it is ready. Some move quickly, others slowly, and some take many lifetimes. There is no right and wrong to any of it. It is about choice.

Through this understanding, we start to see that the challenges faced by others are not mistakes but opportunities for growth. Trust replaces resistance, and we begin to recognize a deeper perfection is at work, even when it is not immediately visible.

With increased awareness, we begin to sense our relationship with the universe and its natural order. Not in some complicated or intellectual way, but from a quiet inner knowing. We see that it is up to each person to choose what they feel will support their unique growth. They decide how to meet their own experiences, their response and the right time to integrate its lessons and move forward.

In time, we see the right of each soul to its destiny. We no longer feel the need to correct, rescue or control. We realize we don’t know what others have chosen for their journey. So, with compassion, love and respect we allow them their experiences.

We each walk a path, arriving at our own destination in our time, in our way, and in our manner, with an inner sense that our path will ultimately lead us home.

Love,

Sandy Stevenson
